Just a Tap Away: Top 10 Tablets of 2018

May the Best Tablet Win

Looking to buy a new tablet? Why not consider one of the tablets we’ve listed below? This list contains 10 tablets from a range of manufacturers at different price points.

Whether you’re after a high end iPad or Windows tablet, you want a cheap and cheerful Android 7 incher, or you’re happy with something in between, this list has you covered.

iPad (2017) - $299+

It should come as no surprise that the iPad (2017) is at the top of this list. Time and time again, Apple has dominated the tablet space with their range of devices. Surprisingly, the iPad can be bought new for as little as $299, which is pretty impressive when you consider this is essentially an entry to the most premium mobile ecosystem on the planet.

The iPad (2017) has a 9.7 inch 1536 x 2048 resolution display, an Apple A9 chip and a 8,827mAh battery. In real world performance, it’s essentially a slight upgrade to the Apple iPad Air 2.

It’s not the best iPad on the market, but for $299, you really can’t go wrong.

iPad Pro 10.5 & 12.9 - $659+

Next up is the iPad Pro 10.5 and 12.9. This is where you go when you want the absolute best tablet experience in the world.

There’s relatively little difference between the different models of the iPad Pro. The 12.9 version has a slightly higher resolution display and larger battery, but it evens out when you consider the battery has to push more pixels.

Whether you opt for the 10.5 or 12.9 version, you can be safe in knowing you’ve got plenty of space to work with, lots of internal storage, and all of Apple’s features aimed at productivity.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 - $419+

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is essentially Samsung’s answer to the iPad Pro series. It’s pretty pricey when compared to other Android tablets, but it’s definitely the best money can buy, and it’s still cheaper than the iPad Pro.

We do wish the display was just a little larger, but we can’t complain. The Galaxy Tab S3 comes with a 9.7 inch 1536 x 2048 resolution screen that’s absolutely stunning. It easily trumps the iPad display.
