TomTom GO 930
The TomTom GO 930 is a high-end GPS system for your car that focuses on getting you there instead of bells and whistles.
Pros
The TomTom G0 930 has many features to help get you where you need to go easier than ever. The 4.3-inch WQVGA display with 480 x 272 pixel resolution and 64,000 color output is easy on the eyes, and so is the sleek all-black finish. Features such as advanced lane guidance can show you with 3D graphics when to change lanes to make your next exit. Perhaps most the most impressive feature is the TomTom IQ Routes which can give you a more accurate ETA using historical data. If you find the estimate is off, you can record your route and update it for future reference. It comes with a car charger, a desktop cradle, a Bluetooth remote and a windshield vehicle mount. Aside from a few areas, the user interface and software are easy to use.
Cons
At $449, there are cheaper GPS systems out there, but none are as accurate. The voice command feature is pretty hit or miss. It's often easier to type in your destination rather than dictate it to the GPS, which is inconvenient if you don't have a co-pilot to do this for you. While helpful, the lane assistance function only appears to work for major freeways and not surface streets.
