Lexmark Z611

The Lexmark Z611 isn’t the world’s best printer, but it doesn’t have to be. With its incredibly low price, the Z611 offers budget-conscious consumers a fantastic value.

Pros

By far the best thing about the Lexmark Z611 is its price. The printer can be purchased for under $30 at some outlets (yes, you read that correctly), which is ridiculously low when compared to other printers on the market. If your family doesn’t do a lot of printing, the Z611 may be the ideal printer for you. The Z611 is so cheap that it actually costs less than its own replacement ink cartridges (they retail for around $40, which is still pretty reasonable).

Cons

When using the Z611, don’t expect speed. This is a printer that is manufactured to be cheap and it doesn’t compare to more expensive printers in terms of printing quality. It is slow and the quality of the graphics and text that it prints isn’t the best (although it’s surprisingly good considering the price). The Z611 definitely can’t handle a large workload, so don’t expect to be able to print hundreds of photos. It’s a budget machine and it can handle light duty, but it would be very unwise to push the limits of this printer. Expect to get what you pay for, basically.

The Gist

The Lexmark Z611 isn’t going to win any Best Printer awards, but it’s not fair to expect the best quality from something that’s so incredibly inexpensive. In case you’re still rubbing your eyes in disbelief, allow us to repeat it once more – this printer can be purchased for less than $30.
